How Do I Find My Model Number HP Officejet All-in-One products ?

Introduction
There are several methods for finding the model number on your product. As described in this document, model numbers are commonly located on the body of the product.
A model number is a unique numeric or alphanumeric code used to identify a particular version of a product. For example, the same series of an Officejet All-in-One may have several different models with varying features.
The following are example model numbers that may look similar to the model number on your product:

HP Officejet 4315xi
-
HP Officejet J5780
-
HP Officejet 5608
-
HP PSC 1311
-
HP PSC 2175v
-
HP PSC 950

How do I find my model number?
Use one of the following methods to locate the model number on your product.
Method one: Locate the number on the front of the All-in-One in the upper left corner
Find the model number on the front of the product in the upper left corner.

If the model number is not on the front of the product, use one of the other methods to identify the model number.
Method two: Locate the model number on the top of the All-in-One in the lower right corner
Find the model number on the top of the product. The model number is usually near the control panel.

Method three: Locate the model number on the front of the All-in-One in the middle
Look for the model number in the middle of the product on the front panel.

Method four: Locate the model number inside the cartridge door
In addition to the model name that appears on the front of the product, some products have a specific model number as well.
The model name is on the control panel, as shown in the preceding methods of finding the model number. To find the model number , open the cartridge door.

The model number consists of five characters. For example:

Method five: Automatically detect the model number

If you cannot locate the model number on the body of the product, use HP’s automatic product-detection tool to determine the model number.
